Forever: 1 for all future time; for always .
Isn't forever just too long, longer than what we think or expect it to be. I think that most of times we misuse the word "forever" we just make refence to it to exagerate the feeling or because we don't know how to express time. When someone says best friend forever do they really mean it. Most teenage girls trend to use this sentece but then after a week or two they already had a fight with their bff. Also when someone says I'll be there for you forever or, I'll love you forever is the person really aware of what he or she just said because after all forever never comes yet that's one of the ways in which we learned to express a long term feeling.
